Fay Weldon 22 September 1931 — 4 January 2023

Fay died at a care home in Northampton, England, close to family and friends, on 4 January 2023, at the age of 91.

Her last post to this site, just less than a year ago, was an apology to her readers for a too-long silence.

Her voice, through her books, remains as clear as it ever was.
